Leeside revenge; Waterford 0 Cork C 3.

Byline: By PAUL BUTTNER

A CRACKING goal from Gareth Farrelly and bad defending brought Cork their first league win in five games to get their hopes of Europe back on course at the RSC.

The win avenged an opening night defeat here in March.

Cork edged a shockingly poor first half with the only note for a big, noisy crowd being Farrelly's stunning opening goal on 40 minutes that left Robbie Hedderman flatfooted.

Hedderman was caught cold again just a minute into the second half.

The Blues left-back hesitated badly as Colin Healy's long free-kick dropped in and Dan Murray arrived to tap home.

More bad defending gifted Cork their third goal on 86 minutes when Joe Gamble headed home.
