Lebanese editors'' union chief hails freedom of Kuwaiti press.

| Sept 24 BEIRUT,(KUNA)-- Chairman of the Lebanese Editor's Union Elias Aoun praised the press freedom that Kuwait has, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Monday.

"Our relationships with Kuwait's media institutions, the Ministry of Information and KUNA are strong", he told KUNA.

He added that KUNA is no longer a local agency, but has become one that is internationally-trusted due to the efforts of those in charge, namely its Chairman and Director General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah.

He also praised Sheikh Mubarak's part in the development of the agency's work and its conventionality, using the highest level of technology.

On the other hand, Aoun pointed out to Kuwaiti-Lebanese relations, adding "Kuwait's part in the development process of Lebanon is well-known to everyone and the relationship between the two countries is solid". (end) mhh.sfm KUNA 241701 Sep 12NNNN
