Learn how to reset your goals with a vision board at WIM Fox Valley meeting.

On Thursday, Jan. 14, WIM Fox Valley will welcome Connie Jo Holmes, a certified life and health coach and hypnotherapist, who will note the importance of goal setting and creating a vision board. The virtual Zoom meeting will be noon to 1 p.m. There is no fee for the meeting for members; $5 for guests who are welcome to attend.

"We all need to reset our goals as we finally have 2020 behind us," said Joy Symonds, WIM Fox Valley president and owner/director of community engagement for Symonds-Madison Funeral Home in Elgin. "It will be a nice change to learn how to create a meaningful vision board that supports goal setting as we move forward in the new year."

Holmes will offer her specialized expertise as a mindset mentor helping individuals align their mind, body, and spirit to live a balanced and renewed life in home, heart and career. Her presentation will include: the importance of setting goals and how to identify your leading goal; how our mind works with starting a new habit (conscious and subconscious mind); how a vision board supports the above; how to create a vision board (with two personal samples to show); and tips and tricks for successful outcomes.

She has specialized training as an anxiety and panic specialist and in removing negative emotions and limiting beliefs. With this specialized training, she is able to help her clients reset themselves for a life of confidence and momentum. Coaching self-acceptance and confidence is the foundation for all Holmes does, including her business name, BU2BFULL Inc., and her book titled, "Be YOU to be Full: Learn the Art of Self-Acceptance for a Life of Confidence and Fulfillment."

This month's meeting sponsor is the Melissa Meyers State Farm Agency in Elgin which specializes in personalized insurance plans. Meyers and her team are truly a one-stop shop when it comes to insuring an auto, motorcycle, home, condo, renters, boat, small business, and life insurance needs.
