The library is pleased to be offering Learning Express Library free to all Boylston residents. This is a great resource for learners at any age or phase of life, offering interactive help in a variety of core subjects and practice tests for a wide range of exams.

Whether you are a high school student wanting extra help studying for the SATs, but don't want to take an expensive class, a parent looking for extra math help for your third-grader, or an adult looking to switch careers, the Learning Express Library can help.

You can create your own profile to save your progress and access it 24 / 7 from anywhere, all for free. Check out the different learning centers, organized by age:

School Center: Specifically for school-aged children from elementary through high school needing extra help in core subjects. Modules consist of interactive learning exercises that are scored instantly. Choose from math, science, social studies, grammar, spelling, writing, and more, or even take a practice exam for a state test.

College Prep Center: Perfect for anyone considering college. Study for the PSAT, SAT, NMSQT, ACT, AP exams, and other college entrance exams, get help with college admissions essays and much more.

College Center: Study for the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, CLEP, and other exams with this learning center designed for college students pursuing higher degrees. There are also great review sections for subjects such as trigonometry, reading comprehension, public speaking, logic, statistics, chemistry and more.

Adult Learning Center: Provides assistance for adults in a variety of career areas. Study for the GED or citizenship exams by taking full-length practice tests, or improve basic skills such as grammar or basic math. There is even a learning center in Spanish for any ESL adults.

Career Advancement: Whether you are considering a second career, are looking for a job, or simply want to increase your skills at your current job, this center has something for you.

Modules on job searching, interview skills, and networking assist job seekers in finding and landing the perfect job.

Workplace skills modules will improve your research, proofreading, writing and math skills for your current position.

Exam study modules will help you successfully pass teaching, firefighter, EMS, postal service, ASVAB, cosmetology, dental assistant, or culinary arts exams (along with many more) There are even tutorials on writing great resumes and cover letters.
