Leading pupils to a golden future.

GOLDEN Hillock School celebrated its best ever GCSE results with a successful graduation evening, watched by more than 400 guests.

A Park View Academy, Golden Hillock School welcomed back Year 11 students from 2012/13 to the prestigious CSN International Exhibition & Conference Centre in Birmingham for the occasion on November 20.

The guest speaker was the head teacher of Ladypool Primary School, Mrs Aslam, an ex-pupil of Golden Hillock School.

Mrs Aslam joined everyone in recognising the fantastic results gained by Golden Hillock students and helped to present awards for outstanding effort, achievement and attendance.

Principal Mr Hardeep Saini said: "It's great to initiate a signifi-cant upward trajectory in the face of the recent controversies and political upheavals affecting these examinations.

"It was great seeing so many students celebrating successes that will set them up for the future and give them extensive choices for the next stage in their lives. Golden Hillock School is truly set on the path of ensuring "Success for All," breaking the links between demographics, deprivation and destiny."
