Telcordia (R) Service Director to Help O2 Germany Bring New Level of Service to German Customers

Telcordia(R) Technologies, Inc., a global provider of telecommunications software and services, and O2 (Germany) GmbH & Co. OHG, a leading European mobile communications provider, today announced that O2 has selected the Telcordia(R) Service Director software product to increase the delivery of high-quality, reliable voice and data services to wireless customers. Telcordia Service Director addresses the critical issue of service assurance by providing a fully scalable, open architecture that links all the processes involved in the creation and deployment of multi-layered services. With its flexible service level management capabilities, Service Director will help O2 increase operational efficiencies and profitability.

It also builds on existing performance, monitoring and alarm management infrastructure to help change the operations paradigm from network-centric to service- and customer-centric.
