Lay-off on the horizon?

Lay-Offs On The Horizon?

Our airport ears are filled with talk that Arkansas Modification, now Arkansas Aerospace, will begin laying off employees in the near future.

But others says it is nothing more than the temporary employees involved in building a new hangar.

Vicky Hall, who works in personnel at Arkansas Aerospace, confirmed that contractors and temporaries are being laid off "but they weren't our employees to begin with," says Hall.

But what about regular Arkansas Modification employees?

"I don't have any comments to make," Hall says.

We called Arkansas Aerospace head Dennis Davis for further clarification, but he was in conference at presstime.
