Lawyers to hand in raids.

SEASONED independent lawyers will be on hand to supervise when companies are being raided as a result of civil court action.

An initiative by Cradley Heath-based George Green has created a search order service for cases where courts have given permission to seize sensitive key material from commercial premises and homes.

The orders are used where it is believed that normal legal channels will have no effect on offenders.

George Green's service will be carried out by dispute resolution head Neil Williams and colleague Mark Elder, who between them have taken part in seven such orders.

Mr Williams said: "Search orders are the Exocet missiles of commercial litigation."
