Lawyers make the headlines.

Ross & Cohen, LLP (Ross & Cohen) announced that Allen Ross and Frederick Cohen, co-founders and managing partners, have been selected to appear in the prestigious New York Magazine list of "The New York Area's Best Lawyers[R]," a distinguished roster of lawyers selected through a rigorous peer review process.

The New York Area's Best Lawyers[R] is a subset of The Best Lawyers in America[R], a biennial publication that is widely regarded as the preeminent referral guide to the legal profession in the United States.

The Best Lawyers lists, representing 30 specialties in all 50 states and Washington, DC, are compiled through an exhaustive peer-review survey in which thousands of the top lawyers in the U.S. confidentially evaluate their professional peers. The current, 11th edition of Best Lawyers (2005-2006), is based on more than 350,000 detailed evaluations of lawyers by other lawyers.

Ross and Cohen founded their firm in 1978. Today, it is among the foremost New York-based firms specializing in construction and real estate law.
