Lawyer joins money group.
Andrew, head of debt recovery at Ward Hadaway, has also achieved a coveted Diploma in Credit Management and Consumer Debt Recovery. This six-month diploma is run by the Credit Services Association (CSA) in collaboration with City and Guilds. It represents a significant development within the industry as debt collection is largely unregulated, despite the requirement to have a consumer credit licence.
Self-regulation is therefore key and mainly achieved through membership of the CSA.
Thanks to his involvement with the Northern Group, Ward Hadaway will be hosting the next meeting at its offices in September, bringing experts in the field to Newcastle.
Andrew said: "I am now focusing on passing on the knowledge I have gained through the course to the other members of the team."
Jamie Martin, managing partner at Ward Hadaway, added: "It's great to see that members of the Ward Hadaway team are taking the opportunity to continue their professional development. I'm confident that Andrew's recent success is going to be of real benefit."
