Lawson Launches Next Generation ERP, Strategic Ledger.

Lawson Software Inc, the financial and planning back-end software house which has been extending its business towards enterprise resource planning recently (CI No 3,490), is to launch what it describes as a "next generation ERP solution" next Tuesday. Lawson Insight II, which has been under development for the last 18 months, is set to include a new Financial Performance Management suite, combining three products that can be integrated and updated by a single transaction. Lawson is also promising the commercial debut of its promised "Strategic Ledger," a web-based analytical finance offering.
