Lawn Tennis: NALBANDIAN FURY; WIMBLEDON 2007: Amazing drama and dust-ups between the downpours.

Byline: By ANN GRIPPER

DAVID NALBANDIAN has slammed Wimbledon organisers for refusing to play on the middle Sunday and forcing some players to play three days in a row.

The Argentine, crushed 6-2 7-5 6-0 by No.10 seed Marcos Baghdatis in a delayed third-round match, hit out at the decision not to catch up despite Saturday's near washout putting the tournament well behind schedule.

He said: "It would make sense to have a middle Sunday. But it didn't surprise me. It's always like this here.

"The bottom half of the draw play Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It's very tough on the players."
