Law firm relocates HQ to Fred French Building

Hollyer, Brady, Smith, Troxell, Barrett, Rockett & Hines, a Manhattan-based law firm, has signed a long-term lease for 8,182 square feet of headquarters space at the Fred F. French Building at 551 Fifth Avenue. MetLife/Real Estate Investments, the building owner, made the announcement.

Suzy A. Reingold and William Elder of The Shorenstein Company East, the building's exclusive leasing agent, negotiated the long-term transaction on behalf of MetLife. David Hoffman of Sealy, Hoffman & Sheehan represented the tenant.

"After considering a plethora of relocation options, we selected the Fred F. French Building because it offered us a prestigious, central location from which to expand our practice, and space for sophisticated data capabilities within an architecturally beautiful landmark," said William Barrett, a partner. "Moreover," he said, "we were attracted by MetLife's stability, as well as its willingness to accommodate our unique needs in a timely fashion."

The firm, which specializes in general litigation for financial service firms, representation of mutual funds and intellectual property matters, is relocating from 342 Madison Avenue.
