Law firm jobs plan.
Winn Solicitors of Newcastle plans to create 180 jobs over the next three years.
The firm says it is winning business from across the country by dealing with drivers' claims in non-fault accidents without affecting the no-claims bonus on their insurance.
The five-year-old firm has just moved from its Heaton base and bought a pounds 2m office block on the site of the former Safeway supermarket in Byker. It has spent a further pounds 1m refurbishing the site.
It is currently handling 500 claims a month and has increased its workforce by a third to 70 since September.
Founder and managing director Jeff Winn says the firm will need to employ 250 staff within three years.
Many of the jobs will be for solicitors, but the bulk are likely to be for legal clerks who assist the solicitors heading specialist teams dealing with particular types of accident.
Mr Winn said: "It wasn't until someone crashed into the back of me, and I was encouraged to settle knock-for-knock, that I realised I wasn't being offered the best service".
