Law firm builds its legal muscle.
Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner LLP announced that it has bolstered its construction law practice with 15 attorneys from New York-based Ross & Cohen, LLP.Through the addition of the Ross & Cohen legal team, Brown Raysman has assembled one of the largest and most experienced construction law in the country, with more than 30 attorneys servicing clients through its network of offices in New York, Los Angeles, Hartford, Morristown, New Jersey and Redwood Shores, Ca.
The expanded construction law roster will leverage Brown Raysman's existing construction, real estate and technology law practice areas.
"The experience and talent of Ross & Cohen's attorneys was a natural fit for our burgeoning construction and real estate practices," said Peter Brown, co-managing partner of Brown Raysman. "They will not only enhance our existing capabilities in these areas, but will also enable us to expand the scope of services we offer to clients."
Allen Ross and Frederick Cohen, who were recently listed in New York Magazine's New York Area's Best Lawyers, cited several reasons for the Ross & Cohen decision to join Brown Raysman.
"The firm's national profile and its track record in welcoming new attorneys were leading factors behind the move," Cohen said.
"In addition, its reputation as a real estate and construction leader made it an obvious choice for us as we looked to further develop our practices."
