Laura F. Bond, 27.

CHARLTON Laura F. Bond, 27, passed away in the early morning on Friday, June 11, 2010, after a long battle with colon cancer.

Laura was a dedicated professional as a Business Project Senior Analyst for CIGNA Healthcare. She has traveled the globe, visiting Germany, France, Italy, and other parts of Europe exploring the world and enjoying life. She was also an avid scrap-booking and photography enthusiast, taking special care to cherish the memories of her family and friends. Laura was a vibrant young lady who always put others first and cared too much. She always put others needs before her own, making sure to care for everyone else, even up to the end of her life.

Laura leaves behind her wonderful husband, Micah; her mother, Terri Gough; her sister, Talisha Soto; and a brother Mike and his wife, Erin; and her 3 nephews, Ethan, Dylan, and Caleb.

Laura's family will meet with family and friends on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Charlton City United Methodist Church, 72 Stafford St. A Memorial Service will follow at 7 PM in the church.

A Graveside Service will be Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 9 AM at West Ridge Cemetery in Charlton.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to: Charlton Firefighters Association, "Fire-works Account", PO Box 861, Charlton City, MA 01508 or Commonwealth Oncology of Worcester, 299 Lincoln St.-Suite 100, Worcester, MA 01605.

The Robert J. Miller-Charlton Funeral Home, 175 Old Worcester Rd., is assisting Laura's family with arrangements.
