Web "Call-back" Feature Helps Properties Profit and Offers Another Amenity

The Launrimate System from the Web Service Company allows residents to stay in their apartment homes or anywhere if they have a cell phone, until their laundry is done.

Sears PartsDirect Launches Commercial Website

Business-to-business customers now have direct access to one of the world's largest selections of parts and accessories for appliance, home electronics, lawn and garden equipment, power tools and more online. Sears, Roebuck and Co., is expanding it's direct parts Internet business to include commercial customers through Sears PartsDirect Sales at www.spdcommercial.com.

The new e-commerce site offers businesses more than 4.2 million parts from over 400 manufacturers and includes owner's manual for most major brands such as GE, Whirlpool, Amana, Kitchen Aid, Maytag, Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, Black & Decker, Panasonic, RCA, Kenmore and Craftsman.

Liftmaster Offers Safety and Maintenance Alert Features

A new value package combining special safety and maintenance tracking features for apartment garage doors is now available from Liftmaster Professional Products Group.

The new 90-ASP value package combines a heavy-duty commercial operator with the LiftMaster Logic Control Board Version 2.0. The Logic Control Board eliminates the need for a centrifugal start switch on the motor, preventing problems from switches that bind. A number of safety features include: the CPS Commercial Protector System II, a non-contact photo safety sensor designed to sense an obstruction and signal the door operator to reverse to open and a positionable red/green warning light system to tell apartment residents when it is safe to pass through the overhead door.
