Latvia hosts photo exhibition about of Kyrgyzstan.
The chairman of Bishkek local council Janybek Abirov opened "Picturesque Kyrgyzstan in the heart of Riga" photo exhibition in Riga, Latvia on April 23, the local council reports.
The exhibition was organized by proposal of Riga city council for residents and guests of Riga for promotion of national traditions and popularization of cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan in Europe.
Abirov expressed hope that every exhibition visitor will be able to see the beauty of Kyrgyzstan and part of culture through photos.
"Riga city council made huge contribution to cultural development of two countries and set good start for cultural dialogue between Riga and Bishkek by proposing us to organize photo exhibition about Kyrgyzstan in Riga," said Abirov.
The chairman of Riga Freeport board Andris Ameriks, deputy chairman of Raga city council Oleg Burov, representatives of Riga city council and Bishkek local council members attended the exhibition.
