"For years we have wanted to introduce the real Lara Croft to the world. We are thrilled that we could finally convince her to take some well deserved time off to meet her fans," stated Eidos Interactive Vice President of Marketing Paul Baldwin. "The chronicles of her adventures have really struck a chord with gamers around the world and we think they will be overjoyed to finally meet her and talk to her in person."
"I know my fans think I have been elusive in the past, but this is really the first time in years I have had the opportunity to take a break from my work pursuits," says Croft. "I am excited to finally have the chance to meet some of my supporters in person. It should be a kick."
Croft will make her debut at the Eidos Booth (South Hall 1300) on Wednesday May 22 at 12:00 pm. She is an expert in many types of hand-to-hand combat and proficient in the use of over 8 weapons ranging from an Uzi to a harpoon gun. Croft has traveled to over 20 countries in pursuit of her adventures.
