Lamba conveys Indian Premier's good wishes to Nawaz.

LAHORE -- Special emissary of Indian Prime Minister, S .K. Lamba met PML-N president Mian Nawaz Sharif, conveying good wishes of Indian Prime Minister for Mian Sahib.

The auspicious Monday meeting held in Raiwind focused on resumption, carrying forward of composite dialogue between two countries, in order to resolve long-standing issues, while the Indian emissary also conveyed good wishes of Indian Prime Minister for Mian Sahib, who responded to the courtesy effusively and with high-spirits.

The meeting took place following an earlier recent telephonic talk between Indian Premier Man Mohan Singh and PML-N president Mian Nawaz Sharif, whence both also deliberated over other matters of regional, mutual and other high prospects of peace, harmony and friendship between two countries.

Nawaz Sharif conveyed his deep appreciation for Indian Prime Minister's message. They took the opportunity to discuss ways to take the dialogue process forward to address all issues of concern to the two countries and to advance peace, friendship and cooperation between the two South Asian neighbours.
