Lahore Lions enter BSF T20 semis.
Batting first Lahore Lions scored 207 for 4 off 20 overs. Omar Zafar top-scored with 83 runs. He was well supported by Awais 56, Mansoor 37 and Nawaz 27. Faisal, Zeeshan, Mubashar and Imran grabbed a wicket each for Shouraim.
Chasing a target of 208, Shouraim collapsed and were bowled out for 110 off 16 overs. Amin was the only batsman who stayed at the wicket and scored a stubborn 26.
In another match of the same division, Lahore Badshah routed KFSH Blues by 10 wickets. Batting first KFSH Blues scored a competitive 197 for 6 off 20 overs. Fakhar (51), Imtiaz (39), Qaiser (22), Khurram (22) and Nasir Abbasi (21) were the main run getters. Yassir got two wickets.
Lahore Badshah were home after 17.1 overs. Wahab Khan played a magnificent unbeaten knock of 102; Asim retired hurt on 41 while Yassir made 30.
In the last match of the Super League Amir Holidays were comfortable winners against FUCHS by 81 runs. Amir Holidays made first use of the pitch and amassed 234 off their stipulated overs. Ahtisham was the highest scorer with 77. Nadeem (41), Irfan (34) and Kamran (31) were the other contributors. Riaz and Mohsen got 2 wickets each.
FUCHS managed only 153 off their 20 overs. Mohsen (40) and Waqar (37) did their best. Arsalan bagged two wickets.
In the Premier League 1, Hyderabadi Warriors scored thrilling two-wicket win over CKK. Batting first CKK scored 192 off 20 overs. Imran played a match valiant knock of 85. Syed Mubashir took 2 wickets.
Hyderabadi Warriors reached their target after 19 overs. Syed Mubashir scored a match winning innings of 82. The other scorers were, Abdul Majid (32), Shahnawaz (24) and Syed Naser (22). Nadeem took 4 wickets.
Later, Stallions scored a convincing 98 runs win over Thales. Batting first Stallions scored 232. Thanks to a scintillating 122 by Asif Mehmood. He was well supported by Junaid (52) and Amir (26). Asim took 2 wickets. Thales was bundled out for 134. Saad scored 30. Sohail and Sajid got 3 wickets each.
In the last match, RAC beat Riyadh Fighters by 22 runs. RAC scored 217 off 20 overs. Mubashir (52) and Aftab (49) were the main scorers. Nusrat got 3 wickets. Riyadh Fighters managed 195. Imran Younous was the highest scorer with 53 runs. Yassir (35) and Arshad (29) did their best. Sarfraz got 4 wickets and Waqas 3.
In Premier League 2, Lahore Badshah Green eased past Friends XI by 9 wickets. Friends Xl batted first and made 174 off 20 overs. Aftab got 3 wickets, Jahangir 2 and Asif 1. Lahore Badshah Green achieved their target off 15.2 overs. Amir (58), Afzal (46) and Zeeshan Butt (36).
Match between Pak Force and AB Contracting ended in a tie. Pak Force scored 219 off 20 overs. Ismail got 2 wickets. AB Contracting also scored 219 off 20 overs. Hilal played an outstanding innings of 115. Ismail (45) and Waseem (25) were the other run getters. Shahid got 3 wickets.
Kashmir Press routed Tigers by 10 runs. Batting first Kashmir Press scored 202 off 20 overs. Kifayat Khan (59), Raheem (36), Zahid (34) and Shabab (30) were the main contributors. Bilal got 2 wickets. Tigers scored 192 off 20 overs. Jewel was the top scorer with 32 runs. Waris, Danish and Amjad took 2 wickets each.
Imran XI scored a thrilling 8-run win over Combined XI. Batting first Imran XI scored 183 for 5 off 20 overs. Hazrat (54), Israr (35), Imdad (29) and Israr (24) were on the scorers list. Asmat, Ahmed and Munir took a wicket each. Combined XI batsmen tried their best but managed 175 for 8 off 20 overs. Kashif scored 54 and Naeem 25. Hussain got 4 wickets while Zain grabbed 2.
RCA President Tariq Javed visited the RCA Cricket Complex and met with all the teams. He thanked them for their support and cooperation. He assured them that RCA would take every possible step to promote the game of cricket to new heights in the region. He announced that RCA would play intercity matches this season with EPCA and YACA. He also announced that an RCA team would go for an tour abroad.
