Lady arrers fans can sit back and enjoy new view; PICK OF THE DAY.

Live darts Sky Sports 1, 7pm DARTS needs a new superstar and there's a couple of dashers on stage tonight, kids who hope to one day eclipse Phil Taylor's power or maybe match the smouldering skills of lady arrers fans' go-to heartthrob Steve Beaton, writes Steve Davies.

James 'Young Mother' Hubbard has got granny arrers fans all moist-eyed this week with his cherubic charm while Jan Dekker, who should be known as 'Double' but appears to have been lumbered with the moniker 'Mr Coat', has overhauled Jelle Klaasen and Vincent van der Voort as Holland's premier darting heartbreaker.

Dekker may actually be called 'Mr Cool' - something might have been lost in translation - which would be a terrible shame since 'Mr Coat' would be the singular best nickname the noble sport of arrers has ever savoured.

Apart of course from 'The Bronzed Adonis' and Beaton is also in action tonight at the Grand Slam. Once a cross between Magnum PI and a German porn star, Beaton has aged as magnificently as his legions of swooning lady arrers' apostles could have dared hope for. His match with the well-groomed Hubbard promises to be one of the most charming sporting encounters ever.
