Laden was fighting war of independence against American imperialism: JI.
QUETTA, May 06, 2011 (Balochistan Times): Osama bin Laden was fighting war of independence against American imperialism. Charges against him for 9/11 incident are wrong. American war is against Muslims. This was stated by Deputy Secretary General Jamaat Islami Pakistan Maqsood Ahmad at a Press conference here Thursday. Amir JI Balochistan Abdul Mateen Akhundzada was also present. Maqsood Ahmad said that we consider Osama as Martyr. War on terror is wrong and is against Muslims he added. Answering a question he said we consider interference of Army or any institution in countrys affairs is wrong and do not accept their political role. Answering another question JI leader said Taliban and al Qaida did not take any action inside Pakistan. He said Pakistan has become alone in the world due to following policies of Pervez Musharraf and it is held responsible for lawlessness in the world. He aid American imperialistic agenda seems to be completing at the hands of our rulers in so called war on terror and they seem to further their agenda to divide the country. There is no course of action to save the country. He said nation expected that Baloch president would come forward and resolve problems of Baloch and restore atmosphere of confidence. But clamant of ending confrontation and politics of reconciliation justified politics of baton and bullet. This closed doors of reconciliation. Nation also expected that erstwhile East Pakistan like measures would be avoided but the massive scale abduction and recovery of mutilated bodies, rulers did not take any lesson. He said after 2008 general elections nation expected that national leadership after imprisonment and exile would rid the people of burning problems. Unfortunately after three years all hopes have died and ruling people have utterly failed in every field. Amir Jamaat Islami Balochistan said that the province has become burning issue of the day. We had never expected that human loss would be caused in the society. He said a national jirga would be held on May 28 to resolve Balochistan issue amicably. He said this problem cannot be resolved without national spirit and guarantee of parliament, Bureaucracy and others.
