Byline: SAMANTHA YULE

A TEENAGE thug killed a drunken man with a single punch as he showed off in front of his mates.

Connor Stewart, 16, was filmed shadow-boxing vulnerable drug addict Michael Rhodes, 47, before landing the blow in May.

The victim fractured his skull as he fell and hit his head in Blackpool and died three weeks later.

In mobile footage played to Preston crown court, shouts of "His head's bleeding" and "He's killed him" were heard. Francis McEntee, prosecuting, said he was "playing the big man" with "an easy target".

Stewart, from Blackpool, admitted manslaughter and got three years in a young offender institution.

He can be named following a press challenge on reporting restrictions.
