Lack of quick ball frustrates Heaslip.

JAMIE Heaslip, inset, expressed frustration that Ireland's forwards weren't able to generate the quick ball the back line need to score tries.

"As a pack we want to get the ball in our hands and create a bit of momentum and fast ball for the backs.

"We've got one of the best backlines in the world so if we can create fast ball we know what they can do.

"So that's what's on our minds that when we get the chance we try and up the tempo from slow ball but there was a lot of slow ball at a lot of rucks there and it was very frustrating."

But Heaslip admitted Ireland must improve ahead of the clash with the All Blacks.

The back row star said: "We have a lot to work on. The Samoan boys are big boys and they hit hard and run hard, so yeah it was good to get that under out belt."
