Lack of cleanliness at Fruit Market irks masses.

ISLAMABAD, July 18, 2010 (Frontier Star): The fruit and vegetable market setup near Khana Pul is a great facility for common people but the poor cleanliness situation causing immense inconvenience to them. It has been observed that not only vendors but the buyers are not much concerned about the cleanliness situation and throw waste material, where they want as there is no check. Zaheer Ahmed, a resident of the area underlined that he gets off at the previous stop of Khanna Pul aimed to avoid inconvenience, caused due to unorganized Sabzi market. Another person said that the waste material thrown by vendors as well as buyers, giving terrible stink and made difficult for people to pass through the market. Amir Iqbal while narrating his experience said that he slipped due to a banana peel and his feet was damaged. Another person, however, said that the people have no choice but to throw the material alongside with the road as there are no dustbins at the market.
