Labour MSP's office is targeted in graffiti spree.

Byline: JENNY FOULDS

MSP JACKIE Baillie last night blasted "a nasty undercurrent in Scottish politics" after neds sprayed "war pig" on her office.

Other sites in Dumbarton were daubed with pro-SNP slogans between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

The Labour MSP said: "As a politician, I am used to receiving personal abuse on social media but this crosses a line.

"There has been a nasty undercurrent in Scottish politics ever since the independence referendum in 2014 and it needs to stop. Three days after the referendum, the Labour Party building in Broadmeadow Industrial Estate was damaged in an arson attack and last year the windows were smashed at our campaign shop.

"Now my constituency office has been targeted and buildings in the area have been daubed with pro-SNP graffiti.

"So much for civic and joyous nationalism."

Police are investigating.
