La Liga's star pair should grace Prem.

WHAT a milestone for the only footballer who looks more like a ballroom dancer than I do.

Having hit the 100-goal mark after just 105 Real Madrid games, Cristiano Ronaldo is a bargain even at pounds 80million.

Just a shame he and Lionel Messi (below) are fighting their personal scoring duel out in Spain and not here.

It's hard to be disappointed by our top two players David Silva and Robin van Persie this season - but they are a very small step down from the La Liga's two star players.

Some have questioned how Messi would do in the Premier League, at places such as Stoke and Wolves.

Well, just look at what happens when he goes to a Spanish struggler and gets smashed around the park. Either the tackles bounce off or he gets up and on with it.

Ronaldo used to do that too - but moaned a lot more.

I had some decent run-ins with him down the years and he was a player I liked to try to leave a mark on early - otherwise his pace and power would kill you.
