LYNNE WEISS NAMED EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF SPINNAKER SOFTWARE CORP. CAMBRIDGE, Mass., July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Lynne Weiss has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer of Spinnaker Software Corporation (NASDAQ: SPKR), according to C. David Seuss, chairman and chief executive officer of Spinnaker. Weiss has been with Spinnaker for over four years; most recently she held the posts of vice president of sales and marketing and PFS: division manager. In her new role she will be responsible for achieving the annual operating plan and will manage product development, marketing, sales and technical support for Spinnaker's products worldwide. In making the announcement, Seuss stated, "Lynne's promotion is an acknowledgement by Spinnaker's board of directors of Lynne's significant contributions to the company.
