 LYLE LOVETT BREAKS ELBOW DURING CONCERT IN PORTLAND;
 CANCELS LAST SEVEN DATES OF 'JOSHUA JUDGES RUTH' TOUR
 UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- MCA/Curb Records artist Lyle Lovett recently suffered a broken left elbow when he tripped and fell over an onstage monitor when the lights were down during a concert performance in Portland, Ore. Because of the injury, Lovett was forced to cancel the last seven dates of the tour in support of his recent MCA/Curb album, "Joshua Judges Ruth." The canceled dates are: Nov. 6 in Berkeley, Calif.; Nov. 7 in Santa Rosa, Calif.; Nov. 9 in Eugene, Ore.; Nov. 10 in Vancouver, British Columbia; Nov. 11 in Victoria, British Columbia; and Nov. 13 and 14 at Caesar's Palace, Lake Tahoe, Nev.
 Lovett broke his elbow during the first few minutes of his Nov. 5 concert at Portland's Schnietzer Auditorium. After opening the show with the song "Baltimore" (from "Joshua Judges Ruth"), Lovett, while walking off the darkened stage, tripped and fell over a monitor on the floor. Despite his injury, Lovett continued to perform, playing the entire show before rushing off to the hospital.
