LUKENS STEEL ISSUES STATEMENT

COATESVILLE, Pa., July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Lukens Steel, based in Coatesville, announced today the company has acknowledged the International Trade Commission's favorable rulings in 11 of 14 cases that charged foreign countries with unfair dumping of cut-to-length carbon steel plate into the U.S. market.
Lukens, which manufactures only cut-to-length plate, is unaffected by less favorable rulings on the dumping of hot-rolled, cold-rolled and corrosion-resistant carbon steel products.
