LUCAS AWARDED $5.8 MILLION FOLLOW-ON CONTRACT BY THE U.S. NAVY

 RESTON, Va., Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Lucas has received a follow- on contract to provide AN/SRQ-4 Radio Terminal Sets to the U.S. Navy's Light Airborne Multi-Purpose System (LAMPS) Program. This brings the total value of the contract to date to $25.7 million. Lucas Aul, which specializes in build-to-print/build-to-spec military electronics, will produce the radios at its Garden City, N.Y., facility.
 Lucas Aul is part of the Lucas Aerospace Communications Business, which, in addition to its build-to-print capabilities, designs, develops and manufactures microwave components and subsystems, satellite communication subsystems, high-power RF systems and subsystems, communications systems and test and measurement instruments.
