 LUCAS AEROSPACE AWARDED SUBCONTRACT FROM ESL
 FARNBOROUGH, England, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Lucas Aerospace has


won a subcontract from ESL, Sunnyvale, Calif., to provide an unspecified number of signal intercept and direction finding systems. The value of the contract is undisclosed.
 Under the terms of the subcontract, Lucas Zeta will manufacture, integrate and test the ZS-1000 signal intercept and direction finding systems at its San Jose, Calif., facility.
 ESL, a subsidiary of TRW, is a major worldwide developer and integrator of strategic, tactical reconnaissance and communication analysis systems. ESL is part of the TRW Avionics & Surveillance Group.
 Lucas Zeta is part of the Lucas Aerospace Communications & Electronics Division, which, in addition to its signal intercept and direction finding equipment, designs, develops and manufactures microwave components and subsystems, satellite communication subsystems, high power RF systems and subsystems, communication systems, and test and measurement instruments.
 Lucas Aerospace is a leading supplier of aerospace systems and equipment with sales of $1.3 billion and operating facilities across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, as well as associated companies, joint ventures, marketing and customer support facilities around the world.
