LTX RECEIVES MULTIPLE SYSTEMS ORDER FROM ASAT

 WESTWOOD, Mass., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- LTX Corporation (NASDAQ: LTXX) announced today that it has received orders, worth $9 million, for digital VLSI and mixed signal test systems from Advanced Semiconductor Assembly Technology (ASAT), Ltd. of Hong Kong. This business includes orders for multiple Deltamaster digital VLSI test systems and multiple Synchro AC mixed signal test systems, configured with two test heads. Deliveries are scheduled to be completed in the next 90 days.
 ASAT, a wholly owned subsidiary of QPL International Holdings, Ltd., is a leading turnkey contract assembly and test company. The Deltamasters will be used to test high pin count digital VLSI devices and the Synchros will be used to test high performance, mixed signal parts, including ASIC's, disc drive and telecommunications devices.
 ASAT commented that the Deltamasters and Synchros were selected because of the well-recognized strength of the LTX technology and the ability of these systems to be adapted and enhanced to meet their customers' future testing needs.
