LTX BOOKS MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR ORDER FROM LINEAR TECHNOLOGY

 WESTWOOD, Mass, June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- LTX Corporation (NASDAQ: LTXX) announced today that it has entered into a three year, multi-million dollar pact with Linear Technology Corporation (LTC) to supply linear testers. These systems which incorporate the CP100, an advanced computing module, will be used to meet production needs at LTC.
 LTC, a leading analog semiconductor manufacturer, undertook an extensive evaluation of test systems. Todd Smathers, director of operations at Linear Technology, commented: "We chose LTX to fill our testing platform requirements, because they provided the most cost effective package."
 Graham Miller, president of LTX, states: "We have enjoyed supplying test equipment to Linear Technology during their rapid growth and supporting their test group with programs to reduce test costs. With this contract we look forward to meeting their future test needs."
