LSGMI Recognizes Baker: Elizabeth S. Baker was honored with the
Legal Services of Greater Miami Distinguished Service Award at the
organization's annual service awards luncheon. The award was given
in recognition of Baker's "outstanding lawyering and exemplary
teaching" in a pro bono case in which she helped a single mother
regain custody of her child. "We are honoring Ms. Baker not only
for her work in this case, but for her continued efforts in providing
excellent pro bono representation to low-income clients," said
Marcia K. Cypen, executive director of LSGMI.
