TULSA, Okla., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Lowrance Electronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: LEIX) today reported record sales of $79,634,000 for the year ended July 31, 1993, up 16 percent from $68,373,000 in sales during the previous year. Net income was $3,000,000, or $.88 a share, compared to net income of $2,501,000, or $.73 a share last year, which benefited from an extraordinary 1991 tax loss credit in the amount of $863,000, or $.25 a share.

Additionally, sales of our products to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for installation on new boat packages increased substantially over OEM sales during fiscal 1992."
