AS Bubble Rush events sell out across England, St David's Hospice in Llandudno is delighted to launch the first Bubble Rush in Wales, and it takes place on Sunday, August 21, at Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay.

It is the new fun run craze with a BIG difference! Each 'bubbler' (otherwise known as participant) must run, jog or walk, the 5k route must passing four different Bubble Stations where they will get foamed in colourful bubbles being blasted from high powered cannons.

Two thousand places will be up for grabs to take part in this new and exciting fundraising event.

Margaret Hollings, Head of Fundraising at the hospice said: "We are really excited about bringing the Bubble Rush to North Wales to raise funds for the Hospice. The feedback we have had from the recent Hospice Colour Runs has been fantastic and we have been inundated with requests for what the next big event will be and 'What can we do next?' "In response to our loyal supporters, we hope that the Bubble Rush is the perfect new fun run challenge."

Each Bubbler will get a t-shirt to wear on the day and a medal on completion.

To add to the atmosphere there will be a DJ gearing the crowds up before the start and lots of stalls and activities for all the family.
