A JOHN Travolta lookalike dressed as a hitman was arrested on his way to a Pulp Fiction party.

Greg Crabb, 37, looked all too real as Vincent Vega - Travolta's character in the movie - down to the gun in his belt.

Police spotted the weapon on security cameras and scrambled a battle wagon of baton- wielding riot cops to take him out.

But the gun was an unloaded air pistol, part of Crabb's costume. He also had his hair slicked back and dressed up in a black suit and white shirt, just like the screen gunman. Yesterday the DJ from Coventry, West Midlands was centre stage again - in a real court.

Crabb was convicted of threatening behaviour for ignoring police orders to freeze.

Afterwards he said: "Friends have said I'm the spitting image of John Travolta as Vincent Vega, but the party was a disaster.

"I was just enjoying a night out. The next thing I knew I was handcuffed and pushed into the back of a meat wagon."

Sentencing was adjourned for reports.
