LONE STAR CASINO CORPORATION AGREES TO ACQUIRE MISSISSIPPI SITE ON INTERSTATE 10

HOUSTON, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Lone Star Casino Corporation (NASDAQ: LONE) announced today that it has signed an agrement to acquire a second major real estate parcel in the Mississippi Gulf Coast area, for development into a 250 acre resort and casino complex.
Roger Cope, president of Lone Star, stated, "We have been extremely active in identifying strategically located real estate parcels on which we can develop family entertainment complexes, with each featuring a dockside casino."
Cope indicated that the company has an agreement to acquire up to 250 acres of property on Bay St. Louis in Mississippi. The property is visible and easily accessible for both eastbound and westbound traffic on Interstate 10, the major California-Florida transcontinental superhighway. The property is also accessible by air from anywhere in the United States via Stennis Airport, less than ten miles away. On this property, the company intends to build an 18 hole golf course; a hotel with conference facilities; four star restaurant; value oriented buffet and coffee shop and an 80,000 square foot casino.
"At our new complex, we intend to target five specific market segments," reported Cope. "We want to attract customers from the local area, cross-country travelers, day-trippers from the New Orleans area and Mobile, golfers and business meeting and convention groups from around the U.S."
Mr. Cope stated, "Our property is just East of the property which Europa Cruises recently acquired at the Diamondhead exit off Interstate 10. We are looking forward to at least one other casino development project nearby which, with ours and Europa's will form a casino hotel complex which will be unequaled on the Gulf Coast.
In addition to the new property, the company recently agreed to acquire a 5.5 acre real estate parcel in Biloxi, Miss., on which, subject to municipal, regulatory and Gaming Commission approval, it intends to build a complex consisting of a 300 room hotel, restaurant/ lounge terminal building and a 60,000 square foot dockside casino. The company also owns the majority interest in the Papone's Palace casino in Central City, Colo., 35 miles north of Denver.
