LOGICON AWARDED TRAINING SUPPORT CONTRACT WITH U.S. ARMY'S TRADOC

 LOS ANGELES, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Logicon (NYSE: LGN) announced today that it has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Army's Training Support Center (USATC), Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), to provide training products and services in support of Army schools and major commands. Other government agencies, in both the defense and civilian sectors, wishing to order training products may also utilize this contract to satisfy their needs.
 The omnibus contract is for one base year plus four option years. Maximum potential value of the contract is $75 million.
 Under the terms of the contract, Logicon will provide training products and services related to the development of interactive courseware using interactive laser videodiscs or computer-assisted instruction, print and other media, audiographic course materials, courseware for video teletraining and distributed training. In addition, the company will analyze training products, training management and a variety of support systems.
 Work will be performed at Logicon facilities in Arlington, Va.
 Logicon is a leader in providing advanced technology systems and services to support national security, civil and industrial needs.
