LOGICON AWARDED CONTRACT TO SUPPORT USAF ARMSTRONG LABORATORY

 LOS ANGELES, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Logicon Inc. (NYSE: LGN) announced that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force's Armstrong Laboratory to provide technical support for the Human Engineering Laboratories at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.
 The five-year delivery order contract has a potential value of $46 million.
 Support is provided to the Crew Systems Directorate, Human Engineering Division of Armstrong Laboratory to accomplish its mission of determining human performance capabilities related to the requirements of Air Force Systems. Logicon personnel will supply the professional engineering and technical support, materials, and supplies needed to operate, maintain, and modify a set of specialized laboratory facilities. In addition, staff will provide the support required to conduct research and advanced development programs ongoing at those facilities. The company has been supporting the laboratory for over four years.
 Work will be performed by Logicon Technical Services Inc. personnel based at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton.
