LOGICON ANNOUNCES CLAIM SETTLEMENT

 LOS ANGELES, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Logicon Inc. (NYSE: LGN) announced today that the company and United States government representatives have settled a $4 million claim the company had filed with the United States Court of Federal Claims. The claim was related to work performed on a fixed-price development contract to provide an air traffic control training system. The settlement, which will be recorded during the company's second fiscal quarter ending on Sept. 30, 1993, will result in approximately $400,000 in net income, or 5 cents per share.
