LOGIC MODELING TO OFFER THE FIRST FULL-FUNCTION SIMULATION
MODEL FOR THE AM29200(TM) MICROCONTROLLER
MILPITAS, Calif., Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Logic Modeling Systems Inc., developer of the industry-standard LM-family(TM) hardware modeling systems, today announced the intention to model the Am29200(TM) Logic Model. AMD has committed to release initial silicon to Logic Modeling for development of the first pre-production complex simulation model of the Am29200.
"Our customers tell us that model availability is the biggest roadblock to system simulation. The Am29200 Logic Model is the latest example of Logic Modeling's commitment to providing designers with pre-production access to full-functional models of popular, complex VLSI devices," said John Lenyo, product marketing manager for Logic Modeling.
Logic Modeling is a partner in AMD's Fusion 29K program, which provides broad-based support for the 29K family. "AMD is committed to providing state-of-the-art design tools for users of its architecture," said Subodh Toprani, director of AMD's Embedded Processor Division. "By enabling system simulation, Logic Modeling's products, like the AM29200 Logic Model, provide companies with the capability to reduce designing iterations and get to market faster."
Logic Modeling Systems Inc. is a privately held company that develops and manufactures industry-standard electronic design automation (EDA) hardware modeling products for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) resale worldwide. The company, with headquarters in Milpitas, has offices throughout the United States and in Europe.
