LOFT Magazine Announces Editorial Changes.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -- LOFT, the leading men's lifestyle magazine for the US Hispanic elite, has named Alberto Chehebar as its new editor. The Colombian-born Chehebar, 35, embodies the taste and style LOFT represents in fashion, culture, and beautiful women. Co-owner of the boutique women's wear line Soye, Chehebar also is an avid art collector and a member of the junior board for the prestigious contemporary art fair, Art Basel Miami. He previously ran the independent record label Pato Records and has been a partner in such successful media ventures as Bela and Dic Entertainment (creators of Inspector Gadget).

"LOFT isn't about what's hot. It's about what's going to be hot," says LOFT president Fernan Martinez. "Alberto is always ahead of the curve. He will bring even more excitement to the cutting edge photos and articles with delicious Latin flavor that LOFT readers have come to expect."

LOFT has also named Celeste Fraser Delgado as the new managing editor of the magazine's US Hispanic edition. Fraser Delgado, formerly of the Miami New Times, is best known for her coverage of the Latin music industry. She will bring her award-winning writing style to LOFT as both contributor and editor.

Outgoing editor Juan Rendon will continue to contribute to the magazine even as he pursues his dream of screenwriting, developing a script for a full-length feature film based on the novel Paraiso Travel. "We will continue to benefit from his creativity and talent," says Isaac Lee, editor-in-chief of Zoom Media Group, publisher of LOFT and sister publication PODER Magazine.

Founded in 2001, LOFT has a circulation of 80,000 in the United States, with an additional circulation of 25,000 copies of special editions in Mexico, 10,000 in Colombia, and 10,000 in Venezuela. LOFT is currently being audited by ABC.
