LOCKE OF THE IRISH.

Byline: By NAOMI McELROY

HE'S the mystery man from hit TV show Lost and now Terry O'Quinn - better known as John Locke - reveals he is Irish.

He might look the part running through the jungles of Haiwaii, but Terry admits he'd prefer to soak up the drizzle by the Irish Sea.

Terry, 55, who even picks up our accent on his frequent trips over - said: "Right now I'm talking much faster than usual."

He plays bald maybebaddie Locke in the cult show but in real life he's just a fun-loving Irish Rover and wears a Celtic ring to celebrate his roots.

Now he is working on new film The Land Of Youth (Tir Na Nog), to be shot on Inis Thiar, one of the Aran Islands next year, written by his equally Irish brother.

The dad-of-two said: "It's the story of an American who goes to Ireland to find his roots but discovers everything his mother told him is a lie.

"I would like to direct it also."
