LLANDOVERY celebrated a convincing bonus-point victory over a weakened Swansea at St Helen's.

Llandovery took a deserved 17-6 lead into the break and Swansea would have been disappointed by the two soft tries they conceded before the break.

The first came on 13 minutes when Swansea gave away a free-kick 10 metres out and a quick tap saw lock Shaun Jones break through some flimsy defence. And after fly-half Cerith Rees put over an 18th-minute penalty, Llandovery scored another easy try, wing Jak Randall finishing off centre Sam Soul's counter-attack.

Llandovery's stranglehold on the game tightened with a penalty and a drop-goal shortly after the restart.

And their victory was all but complete when centre Matthew Jacobs broke through a double tackle to go under the posts for a converted try.

Lock Ben Davies and wing Lewis Harry got two tries back for Swansea.

The bonus-point try for Llandovery came through replacement prop Andrew Jones two minutes from time. SWANSEA: Tries - B Davies, L Harry, J Szabo; pens - S Davies (2) LLANDOVERY: Tries - S Jones, J. Randall, M Jacobs, A Jones; cons - C Rees (4); pens - C Rees (2); drop-goal - C Rees
