LIZ CLAIBORNE INC. TO RECORD A ONE-TIME CHARGE OF
4 CENTS PER SHARE IN FOURTH QUARTER OF 1991
NEW YORK, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Samuel M. Miller, chief financial officer of Liz Claiborne, Inc. (NYSE: LIZ), said today that as a result of the Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing of R.H. Macy Co., Inc., Liz Claiborne will record a one-time charge of $0.04 per share in the fourth quarter of 1991.
Miller additionally stated that Liz Claiborne continues to be a strong supporter of Macy's management and expects to resume shipping to Macy's now that the interim debtor-in-possession financing has been approved by the court.
