LITTLE SIX, INC. TO HELP THE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION FOR THE TENTH YEAR

PRIOR LAKE, Minn., Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- For the 10th year in a row, Little Six, Inc. will be doing its part for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) during their annual Labor Day Weekend campaign. The Mystic Lake Casino will have special bingo games played with the proceeds going to MDA. The Casino will also have two slot machine banks with a portion of the proceeds going to the cause.
Leonard Prescott, chairman of the board and CEO of Little Six, Inc., noted Little Six's 10 year commitment to the MDA and their campaign to raise research dollars. "The Muscular Dystrophy Association has been on our list every year in terms of where our contribution dollars go. We started out with them at the Little Six Bingo 10 years ago and have now expanded our contributions to Mystic Lake Casino and The Dakota Country Casino. The MDA is a very worth-while cause whose work is phenomenal fighting this disease."
Along with the game promotions, a phone bank has been set up at the casino for contribution calls to be taken by employees volunteering in their spare time.
"We want to get as many people involved in the campaign as possible," said Prescott. "It's good not only for the MDA but also for casino employees and customers who get an opportunity to make a contribution of time, effort, or dollars for the cause. It gives those participating a feeling of hope and accomplishment."
Prescott will present a check to the MDA during the telethon to be aired on KARE-11 on Labor Day.
Little Six, Inc. and the Mystic Lake Casino are wholly owned enterprises of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Dakota Community located in Prior Lake.
