LITTLE CAESARS PIZZA'S DENISE ILITCH LITES
 AMONG ADVERTISING AGE'S MARKETING 100
DETROIT, July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Denise Ilitch Lites, senior executive vice president of Little Caesar Enterprises, Inc., has been chosen as one of Advertising Age's Marketing 100 -- the top 100 best and brightest marketers in the country.
The new list published by Advertising Age, Crain's international newspaper of marketing, is composed of the people who are in charge of marketing the top 100 brands in product, service and media categories.
Ilitch Lites was selected by Ad Age for her input in Little Caesars' successful, award-winning advertising campaigns and the company's growth. In her marketing role with the world's largest carry-out pizza chain, she oversees all creative work and promotional campaigns, making all key decisions in the areas of advertising and promotion.
Under her direction, Little Caesars' advertising has won numerous industry awards, including "most memorable advertising by Video Storyboards Test, Inc. for the past four years, along with a host of Addy Awards, Clio Awards, Andy Awards, One Show Pencil Awards, and Nation's Restaurant News Eat and Ear Awards, among others.
"It's a wonderful honor to receive this distinction from Advertising Age," said Ilitch Lites. "We believe that the special brand of humor we use in our advertising at Little Caesars is memorable and entertaining. After all, laughter is contagious."
The Marketing 100 winners were chosen based on recent marketing achievements, creative strategies or successful product repositioning.
Little Caesars(R) Pizza, based in Detroit, has more than 3,950 restaurants in all 50 states, Canada, England and Puerto Rico. By the end of 1992, the company projects to have 4,575 restaurants open with $2.16 billion in systemwide sales.
